Not a day goes by that i'm not thankful we live near Boston Children's Hospital. We've spent countless hours in Boston Children's, sitting in waiting rooms, meeting with doctors, listening to good news and bad. I've met mamas whose stories have made me smile and others whose stories have broken my heart. in 2011, our older son had a C2-C3 spinal fusion, and this surgery very much saved his life.
We come back regularly for check-ups and will continue to do so forever. As tough as that can be, I remind myself to make sure that our gratitude outweighs our fears. Our family is forever indebted to these nurses & doctors for their expertise, kindness, & even their humor. For this reason and so many more, I donate a portion of every session to Boston Children's Hospital in honor of Dr. John Emans & Dr. Leslie Smoot.
